Dr. Riley Keeton (they/them) is the face behind Opportunity101. A Kentucky native, Riley has over two decades of professional experience and has been in higher education since 2008. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology from the University of Tennessee with specializations in Criminology and Political Economy. They have also completed professional certificate programs in education consulting, grant management, and nonprofit management. Riley has extensive experience educating and mentoring students from diverse populations and is committed to meeting students where they are in their academic journey. They have aslo worked with clients in multiple industries including education, science & research, public health, and mental health. In addition to higher ed expereince, Rob has expertise in professional/scholarly research and writing, teaching, professional training, professional ethics, and diversity-related issues.

Riley is also a parent, a baseball fan, and a meteorite hunter and collector. They currently serve as Secretary of the Global Meteorite Association.
